As a subcontractor, the activities of DD Plast A/S are based on having close customer relationships. This interaction is expressed in the development of moulding tools, the quality of which is a decisive factor concerning a stable and satisfactory cooperation in the production of more than 1,000 item numbers. Since its establishment in 1982, DD Plast has experienced a rate of growth which has led to the continuous expansion of the physical framework which now comprises 4,000 square metres of new production premises. Machine equipment ranging in capacity from 30 to 350 tonnes of locking pressure annually produces more than 50 million items.

The Lystrup-based company incorporates its many years of experience in the ongoing development of its products and it has therefore been able to successfully offer turnkey concepts, including advice on item design and tools construction and finishing, e.g. assembly, heat sealing and printing. DD Plast applies an advanced degree of automation which ensures quality and flexibility. The company’s advanced use of robotics also provides for a high level of quality, ensuring reliable delivery times and planning. The environmental and quality assurance of DD Plast is based on the ISO 14001 and 9001 standards and means that advisory services may include data for LCA analyses.

From the outset, the company focused on the Danish market, but in recent years, DD Plast has exported to China, Mexico, Germany and Sweden. Within the industry, the market for injection moulding and mould making is indeed quite extensive.
