Manager Keld Holmen Møller established SCR (Scandinavian Computer Recruitment) in the mid-1980s, and he likes to refer to the company as a “key junction” for employees and those seeking employment within the IT business. Over the years, this central position has been expanded and today includes a network of about 7,000 IT specialists, IT managers and sales staff who have all chosen to submit their data to SCR.
The sum of IT knowledge that is thus represented at the head office in central Århus makes headhunting an irrelevant term for SCR. Candidates come of their own accord.
In addition to SCR, which acts as the link at all levels between companies and IT specialists, IT managers and sales staff, the sister company SCR Freelance can offer about 150 consultants for immediate participation in short-term projects – typically three to nine months. SCR Freelance thus commands an “expeditionary force” that is always ready for emergency action.
The overall activities also include the “outplacement” of employees that have been forced to leave their jobs due to cutbacks. SCR thus contributes to maintaining an active workforce in society while helping companies that have a sense of social responsibility.
