Terma A/S was established in 1949 and has since grown into a recognized international company, using innovative solutions to develop our own products and systems.
Terma’s headquarters is located at Lystrup, and we have departments at Grenaa, Birkerød, Tåstrup and Allerød as well as offices in the USA and Malaysia and subsidiaries in Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.

Space Terma has been active in space projects ever since the beginning of European co-operation on satellite programmes. Terma has developed and supplied software and electronics for checkout, control and operations systems and mechanical structures for several space programmes. Terma participates in the Ørsted satellite as well as in the development of the Rømer satellite.
Aerospace An extensive product programme within airborne electronic self-protection systems has positioned Terma as a leading international manufacturer. The systems are developed in co-operation with the Royal Danish Air Force and are supplied to several NATO countries. Furthermore, Terma develops and manufactures tactical reconnaissance equipment and structures and equipment for international aircraft manufacturers.

C3 systems Since the late 1970s, Terma has developed command and control systems (C3I) for all three branches of the Danish defence forces. Our tactical C3I systems for naval purposes are now moving into a third generation using modern computer and software technology. Terma also develops C3I systems for air defence systems for both army and air force.

Surveillance and information systems Terma develops and manufactures radar and surveillance systems for the surveillance of coasts, ports and straits as well as radar systems for airport surveillance and complete systems for marine vessels. Furthermore, Terma is a leading international supplier of Air Traffic Control systems.
Manufacturing and services Terma undertakes activities within production, installation, maintenance and service. Our competence within this area – small series, high quality and great complexity – is also offered to external customers. Furthermore, Terma participates in international development, manufacturing and maintenance programmes.
