A hothouse for entrepreneurs

Since the establishment of the Aarhus Business Incubator in December 1997, the ambition has been to create one of the best “hothouses” in Denmark for new businesses as well as to contribute to economic growth and job creation in the area. This ambition has been fulfilled to a very large extent.

Since the outset, the Aarhus Business Incubator has been a magnet for innovative entrepreneurs.

Today, about 50 new businesses with a total of 300 employees are located at the impressive headquarters building that was Coop Denmark’s former ropewalk.

The Aarhus Business Incubator offers businesses a domicile on favorable terms, but that is not all.

We also offer a number of shared facilities, qualified sparring and a network within and outside the Aarhus Business Incubator, where businesses can gain inspiration from fellow entrepreneurs and experienced business managers.

In May 2000, the Aarhus Business Incubator was incorporated as a limited liability company and is thus now able to provide venture capital to promising entrepreneurs. In this way, the Aarhus Business Incubator helps to rubber-stamp new businesses and attract even more investors.
